Kimberly Surber, CFP®, CDFA®

Kim is a graduate of UCLA.  She has been working in financial services since 1998 and in 2001 she earned her Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation and became an independent financial planner.

Her passion is making financial planning fun and exciting by really helping her clients to see their life’s vision, and all that they want to achieve, and then creating the strategies to make it happen.

Kim is also dedicated to helping women achieve confidence and security around money.  A lot of women just don’t feel comfortable with investing their money, so they either let their husbands handle everything, or they do nothing.  My goal is to educate women in an easy to understand format so that their confidence grows!  Some of us have a lot of fear around money, and I am here to guide and support you and lessen that fear.  Money is just a tool to create the life we want.  With collaboration, all women can confidently manage money to care for their families and provide for a strong financial future!

In 2014, Kim also earned her CDFA® designation (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst).  As someone who has experienced divorce first-hand, she has the experience and the knowledge to help others work through all the financial issues that come with the divorce process.  She will be a strong ally in helping you make those financial decisions that will impact you for decades to come so you can stand strong and move forward financially confident. When she’s not working, Kim can be found gardening, reading, wine-tasting with friends or spending time with her family. She has one daughter, Christine (21 yrs old) and two cats Toby and Shadow. Her goal is to make someone laugh every day!
